Pepsi and the Seven Up Bottling Co. have, over the years, committed significant resources towards youth development programs in Nigeria. The Pepsi Football Academy was from the outset (and continues to be) a truly imaginative and important initiative.

The very size and scope of the academy is evidence enough of Pepsi's commitment to youth development and Pepsi's intent, through the academy, to provide the opportunity for so many youngsters to develop their talent. With the academy having celebrated its 10th anniversary (in 2002), all involved should rightly be proud of this milestone. Many thousands of students have and will continue to benefit through their membership of the Pepsi Football Academy.
