| Michael’s mum visits Seven Up |
 Pepsi Scholarship: L-R Mrs Oluwatoyin Michael, mother of Oluwatosin who is on his Pepsi scholarship to the UK: Oluwatosin Michael: Chief Operating Officer of Seven Up Bottling Company Plc Mr. Sunil Sawhney and Marketing Manager, PepsiCo International, Mr. Mazen Al-Masri. Michael, a Pepsi Football Academy student, is on a two-year scholarship in the UK. Mr. Sunil Sawhney, Chief Operating Officer of the Seven Up Bottling Company, received both Michael and his mother in his office and stated that it gladdened his heart to see the happiness and fulfilment that the scholarship has brought to the Michael household. Mrs. Michael said “we are at Seven Up head office to show our deep appreciation to the management of the company for its magnanimity in sponsoring our son for his 2-year scholarship to England. I want to say that, by this act, God has used Seven Up to elevate the status of my family.” She further said that when Tosin, as an only son, was enrolled in the Pepsi Football Academy by his father 11 years ago, she had reservations as Tosin was so young and only 6 years old. Also speaking at the occasion, Mr. Mazen Al-Masri, Marketing Manager of PepsiCo International said that the programme that took Michael on a 2 year scholarship to the UK is a unique one that is designed to select brilliant students of the Pepsi Football Academy with excellent football skills and send them abroad on scholarship to help in their development. “It’s part of our Corporate Social Responsibility” Al-Masri said.
